Meet your chef-guide
Born in Guatemala and based in Spain for the past 15 years, I studied Restaurant Management at a Gastronomy School before spending a decade working across six restaurants and leading the opening of six hospitality businesses. Ten years ago I opened my first venue, and today I run an artisan burger restaurant in Murcia and a tacos & burgers stand at Murcia's Mercado de Correos. My partner is a professional chef who runs her own artisan cookie café — food is truly a way of life for us.
My teaching brings together storytelling, hands-on experiences, and cultural exploration. In this course, I invite students to approach cooking not just as a skill, but as a way of understanding people, history, and place.
